A national charity that gives seriously ill children the best chance to thrive at home. At Speedy Hire, we have supported Wellchild for many years providing financial support and using our volunteering days to take part in their Helping Hands programme. Using our expertise, our kit, and and our famous Speedy spirit, we help deliver safe and accessible spaces for children in the UK with complex health needs.

The biggest funder of research into heart and circulatory diseases in Europe, helping to find cures and treatments to give people more time with loved ones. We support the BHF through our partnership with their ‘Spotlight On’ campaign, providing financial support to raise awareness of hidden heart conditions. To support BHF further we have also installed defibrillators in all our depots and our engineer vans so that we can provide lifesaving support in time of need. All our defibrillators are registered to ‘The Circuit’, the UK’s national defibrillator network, making it easier for emergency services and the public to find the closest device.

Dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of the construction workforce and their families. The Lighthouse Club is a longstanding charity of Speedy Hire. As a partner of the #MakeItVisible Campaign, we have donated a vehicle to the Lighthouse Club team, helping them visit UK and Ireland construction companies, builders merchants and hire centres to raise awareness of wellbeing and welfare support. The #MakeItVisible on-site initiative was launched in February 2022 and has visited almost 500 sites and engaged with almost 30,000 workers.

Speedy Hire is a founding patron of WYZ, a charity that offers young people aged 7-19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

Speedy Hire has recently partnered with Prostate Cancer to give every man the power to navigate prostate cancer by raising awareness, funding lifesaving research, campaigning for change, and providing support and information.
