What a great day we had at the weekend celebrating the 10th anniversary of Wigan Pride!

Our first ever Speedy Hire depot opened in Wigan in 1977, and 48 years later we were extremely proud to return to our ‘hometown’ to celebrate equality and diversity, and showcase our ‘inclusive’ value in action across the community.

From entertainment from headliner Danny Beard, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and 80s pop star sensation, Sonia, to a colourful parade through the town centre - it was fantastic to show our support to the LGBTQIA+ community and talk with pride about what a welcoming and supportive place Speedy Hire is to work.
