What happens next?

What happens to my accounts with Speedy?

  • Your existing accounts will not change and will be run down.
  • You will need to create a new Purchase Ledger account(s) with Speedy Asset Services. For more information click "What do I need to do?" on the right hand menu.

How will this happen?

To ease the transition for you, we are changing as little as possible...

What's NOT changing...

  • Any details for existing hires:
  • Your Purchase Order numbers will continue to be quoted.
  • Existing hires will be invoiced under existing Speedy company names.
  • Account numbers and contract numbers will remain the same.
  • Our depots will all remain the same.

What IS changing...

  • All orders from 1st September '09 need to be raised against Speedy Asset Services.
  • All invoices for new orders placed after 1st September '09 will be invoiced as Speedy Asset Services.

When will this happen?

  • The change is happening during the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August.
  • Trade with Speedy Asset Services commences from Tuesday 1st September '09.

What if I also trade with Speedy Hire Direct or Ireland?

  • There is no change for our Hire Direct customers for the time being, all Hire Direct orders should continue to be placed with Hire Direct and not with Speedy Asset Services.
  • There is no change for our Speedy Ireland customers, all Speedy Ireland orders should continue to be placed with Speedy Ireland and not Speedy Asset Services.
