Every year Speedy
Hire are proud to support a number of nominated charitable
organisations to receive financial contributions. People
at all levels within the business choose the charities
annually and, as such, the list rotates.
And it doesn’t stop there. In addition to financial
donations, Speedy have long supported local community
initiatives and sponsor a wide variety of local sports
teams at both youth and adult level.
Speedy Hire encourage their employees to give their time
to help a good cause. In May, 18 girls from Speedy Lifting
and 2 from Speedy Hire ran the Cancer Research 'Race for
Life' raising £1,608! Speedy Hire will match this
amount bringing the total raised to £3,216. Also,
in cooperation with Mowlem it was decided that rather
than give Mowlem a Christmas bottle, Speedy Hire would
donate the equivalent amount to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
This resulted in £650 being presented to the hospital.
