working at height
Falls from height are the biggest single cause of fatal injuries and the second biggest cause of major injuries at work in Great Britain.
In a bid to reduce this distressing, costly and preventable suffering, new legislation was introduced in 2005.The new legislation is designed to promote safe working practice by clearly defining work at height and the employers responsibility for proper risk assessment, product selection, usage, supervision and training.

As part of Speedy Hire's commitment to safety, we have extended our product range to include equipment that helps improve safety when working at height.

We have also developed a communication programme based on the idea of Safety From The Ground Up, to promote awareness and understanding of safe working practice, particularly amongst those working on site.
